Annual Coat Drive

Since 2013, Green Family Stores has helped provide coats to students in need in Springfield and surrounding areas.  What started as Todd Green purchasing 100 coats has turned into a full-scale collaboration between each Green Family Store, our customers and now community partners.  We now average more than 1,500 coats delivered to local kids each year.  Our belief is that no child should be cold.

We team up with One in a Million and Springfield Eastside Pride to help distribute coats in early November of each year, but we don’t stop there.  We have teachers and school administrators reach out to us throughout the winter when they see a student in need of a warm coat, so we continue to collect new coats for kids of all ages and sizes.

Please drop off new coats, hats and gloves to Green Kia all winter long.
